Thee Untitled

I was invited to a practice session of a really kick arse band called Thee Untitled one warm Sunday morning.  I could not in my wildest dreams dream what I was in for on this sunny day.  First thing that came to mind is these guys are super super nice and funny, no way they gonna rock my world.  So I calmly listen and talk while they explained some of their dynamics. They also call their music Feel Good Metal, now I was so ready to hear what they where on about.

They where ready to start and I unassuming walked into the small backroom, where plaster was coming off the walls in some places a random pot plant on one of the cupboard(I now know why it looks so happy).
Poster on the walls gave me a glimpse into their world.Muse: the insanely talented, will only inspire. The legend Eric Clapton poster must be their guide to greatness, in my opinion anyone that loves disturbed knows the essence of metal.  So we put our earplugs in and I calmly place myself on the super low sofa, notebook ready, camera ready. START

They started with Beer, now everyone loves beer the song has no vocals and its their very awesome way of warming up.
Hallucigenics that took me about 4 times to spell right, this song shows how they play with pounding pleasure. The words slowly make their way into the music. These words need definite thought and you cannot just take it as is, you need to listen and feel what you are being shown through their art.
Supernova was next and I actually got the chills as the pounding smoothness drifts through the air into your blood.  "Supernova, the confines beset Bringing it all, burning it all"
The Prince of power (princesses), powerful and strong, makes you grin because you know you are witnessing greatness. " Divine guidance at stake.Searching my fate. Spectrums dilate.Perception bleeding the hate."
My absolute favorite was Sufferings of willingness, I cannot explain how flipping super heart roaring it was.  There is no other way but to go see them live, I am addicted.

The band was formed four years ago and with most things life sometimes gets in the way, but now they are well on their way to make a name.  They need to push forward because there is no way the world can go on without their sound.  It will be like a lost step in the circle of life (ok I am being ever dramatic, but my word).

The member are:
Sean Sloan: Guitar and Vocals

Dwayne Frost Marais: Bass Guitar
Jarred Michel: Guitar
Delmian Deyzel: Keyboard and Electronics.

VOTE for your favourite Playboy Playmate Of The Year 2013

The Playmate of the Year vote is a tradition that’s as unique to PLAYBOY as pool parties at the Mansion or Hef’s smoking jacket. Although PLAYBOY has been measuring the popularity of every Playmate of the Month since Margie Harrison was named Miss January 1954, it wasn’t until 1960 that the first official Playmate of the Year title was given to Miss December 1959, Ellen Stratton.

Earning the Playmate of the Year title is a pretty tall ask, though, and doesn’t only depend on a centerfold’s beauty or popularity. As an ambassador for PLAYBOY, her ability to market herself and the PLAYBOY brand is equally important. Our new Playmate of the Year will have large shoes to fill after the fantastic reign of South Africa’s first ever Playmate of the Year, Jade Fairbrother, 2012.

Besides all the official stuff, the Playmate of the Year vote is a great reason for us to see all the 2012 centrefolds together and gives you the opportunity to help PLAYBOY pick this year’s number one Playmate.

Vote for your favourite Playmate or register by SMS. (SMS’s charged at R1.50)

Voting starts on Sunday 10 February 2013 and ends at midnight on Sunday 31 March 2013.

The top three Playmates in terms of voting total are chosen as finalists and are then submitted to a panel of judges for a final decision. Fans will be able to vote again then, for free, on our website at www.playboy.co.za, for their choice among the top three during the first week of April.

Simply SMS the number of the Playmate you are voting for to 45839. You will receive an SMS reply to confirm your entry into the competition.

SMS 1 to 45839 to vote for Imogene Meyer

SMS 2 to 45839 to vote for Yolandi Wiggett

SMS 3 to 45839 to vote for Kate Lovemore

SMS 4 to 45839 to vote for Aamz

SMS 5 to 45839 to vote for Bianca Golden

SMS 6 to 45839 to vote for Zoe Padi

SMS 8 to 45839 to vote for Alexis Fox

SMS 9 to 45839 to vote for Vounal Nundlal

SMS 10 to 45839 to vote for Kelly Jordan

As an example, if you wish to vote for Kate Lovemore, Miss March 2012, you need to SMS the number 3 to 45839. It’s as easy as that! So start voting!
