We are extremely
excited and proud to announce that SA Music News has now officially been
appointed as a Music2Deal Ambassador,
and to top that, SA Music News has now also gone into a joint venture with RED ROOM RECORDS.
So everyone
thought that record companies don't go out and check out bands anymore right?
Well, RedRoom is going back to the good old A&R days. We will be on the
prowl, incognito, for those bands with a potential hit song! From 1st
September till we've got at least 12 ‘’hit’’ songs (hopefully before 2014)
we'll be WATCHING & LISTENING, ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE.
Red
Room Records and SA Music News executives will be visiting a couple of live
music venues in the couple of weeks where we will be selecting a few unknown
and upcoming bands at random whom will each receive ''FREE Recording'' of one of your songs for
a compilation CD that will be released in early 2014.
SA
News will also do a professional photo shoot with each of the 12 “winners” of
each of these packages, as well as be featured on our website's Featured Artist
Page.
If you think we
should pop in at your gig, post your gig invite on this event page! State the
date, venue & time. Oh and your band's name too!
We
would however require from you to put SA Music News and Red Room Records
executives down on your guest lists at your shows, just in case we might decide
to pop in that night.
You won't know
that we're there, or perhaps you will. RedRoom
Records will commission the recording of your song if we think it has hit
potential. It will be included in a compilation album to be released in 2014.

agreement between your band and RedRoom Records is reached and
