Super group JAMIROQUAI, led by the
infamous front man Jay Kay, landed earlier today at OR Tambo International airport
for the much anticipated inaugural Delicious Food & Music Festival.
Jamiroquai will perform along with 12 South African Bands on Saturday and
Sunday at the Blue Hills Estate in Kyalami. Concert goers will also have
the choice of eating in 3 international chefs' pop up restaurants or shopping
from over 100 food stalls.
And the logistics are quite delicious : Over 144 musicians performing on a 46m
wide stage, 6 tons of equipment, a 10m video wall, over 30 stage
crew running the music event. For the hungry 220 kg of lamb
rack, 150 litres of vanilla ice cream, 50 Kg of fresh crayfish tails, 20 kg of
beef mince, 15 kg of king crab legs, and 2 kg of ground black pepper are
just some of the ingredients on order.
Tickets are available at Computicket

music of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, sometimes also including music of the baroque and early classical periods
Absolutely amazing, we can not be more thankful for all the music we have played for and all the people we have met throughout our whole journey of playing.
