Bittereinder

Between words was hidden a wisdom that was born in the mind of a dreamer, a rapper, a modern day poet.
The beat drew me in and I was shocked to find so much substance in many of the lyrics of their songs.  I downloaded the Press kit on their website and thought what is this wonderful poetry and I realized I was reading lyrics.  I sat back for a moment to just catch my breath.

Music is a journey and I so often find myself in awe of the talent we have in South Africa. I think we take for granted the African beat that runs in our blood.  I get so exited when I hear a band is from SA and they hit us with sick beats and perfect lyrics.

Bittereinder is erg cool en ongelooflik begaafd. As jy nie saam sing of rap nie is daar iets fout met jou, self van my engelse vriende gooi hom saam soos Kwaad Naas.

We never know what the future holds but Bittereinder has their future firmly in their hands and they making it a funky meaningful place to be. Sick beats, lyrics that make your soul take notice, you cannot tell me you don't love it..
